SCAPPA Scholarship Programs

To provide financial assistance for post-secondary education to children of qualifying SCAPPA members.

Process

SCAPPA offers two distinct scholarship opportunities for our members. One is to support the education in the field of Facilities Management for member’s children. The other is to provide opportunity to attend APPA U

APPA U! Scholarship

It is time to register of SCAPPA Scholarships to APPA U! Scholarship covers full registration fees at APPA’s Institute for Facilities Management or Leadership Academy. The scholarship award includes up to $500 for lodging/travel related expenses.

Educational Scholarship Policy

Scholarships will be awarded to individuals who are presently employed in the field of facilities Management at a SCAPPA member institution. Scholarships must be utilized within 12 months from the dat which they are awarded or they may be forfeited.

College Scholarship

Only rising college freshmen that are children of SCAPPA members employed full-time in the field of facilities management for at least 12 months are eligible.

APPA U! Schoalrship

Eligibility for APPA U

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a SCAPPA member in good standing.
  • Must be in the field of facilities management.

We encourage members to take advantage of this benefit.

To apply, you must send a letter noting the requested scholarship your are interested in.

Include why your are interested in participating in the program you selected.

Include a letter from your supervisor agreeing to allow you attend the program.

Funds are limited, place your request early to ensure consideration.

Students must document enrollment prior to disbursement of the scholarship funds.
